Default HID Relay problem need help!

Hey I'm trying to install my relay harness for my HID's but the part of the relay which plugs into my stock harness seems to not fit. The two metal prongs are too big to fit into the stock plug, can I just grind them down to size until they fit? I'm trying to figure out why only that part wouldn't work, the HID kit I bought has H11 bulbs (for the anzo headlights I have) , but I don't really see why that should change the size of the connector for the stock harness that just has to do with bulbs right? Would just trimming the prongs to fit into the stock harness be a bad idea or does it not matter as long as the metal contacts complete the circuit??

For the relay, you should be fine as long as you make the connections for 12V and ground.

Where are you located? If you're So. Cal. maybe we could meet up and I could help you out.

Nah I'm across the country in PA, I mean the question isn't that hard though. You know the part of the relay that plugs into the stock harness? Well there are two prongs on that, like any electrical plug that goes into a wall. The problem is the prongs are too large to fit into the stock harnesses holes, so can I just trim the prongs with my dremel until they fit into the holes, or is that gonna cause some kind of electrical fire or something?

does anyone know if you connect the positive and negative of the relay straight to the battery? or does the black get connected to ground?
