Default HID Temperature vs. Halogen?

I have an 06 tc. I installed some led parking lights and some silverstar low beams. It seems that after a month or so, the leds are being burned out im assuming from the heat from the bulb. What i'm curious about is whether he HID lights would run at a lower overall temp and help from burning out the leds.

???

well to my experience i always ran my leds that are white for parking with my HIDS. they actually have burnt out before but i think it depends on the quality and what led you get. Cus some burnt out and the recent ones i have used have been running on my car for about 6 months now no problem. and still going. Got them at superbrightled but at the same time thats where i always gotten mine. weird lol

HIDs burn hotter then halogen. your best bet it to find a bulk deal on the 194 bulbs and stock up. ;)

I'm pretty sure that the operating temp of a HID bulb is significantly less than that of a regular halogen.

Umm you're wrong sir. less watts = less heat.

How about just not put LEDs in your parking lights? Seems cheaper to replace those than to try to find bulbs to not shorten their lifespan.

I don't think it would matter, the LED's just burn out like crazy you should just stock up.
