I want to get a real hid kit now, and have some q's. well first off i want 8000k for low beams and 6000k for high beams to still kinda look blueish but be able to see better and farther than the lows. I read somewhere an hid kit ends up burning up or melting after 8-12 months is this tru. also has anyone got hid kits off 3bspecialties.com they have them on sale for 130$ right now.. thanks

This is the 3rd topic I've seen by this same person, in which the word "search" was mentioned within the first 3 posts.

And no they don't burn up or melt after 8 months, I've had mine for almost 2 years, they just lose lumen output over usage. I haven't noticed much of a decline in output in mine and they're literally on 100% of the time, day or night.
