Not at all. It really is white. What it looks like on Mobile HID's web site is pretty accurate. If you want, I could take some pics.

6k hid's are not a complete waste. Why is everything so black & white?. That kind of thinking is what's killing scionlife. This view is shared by many on the boards, that the ScionLife community has gone somewhat downhill with "my setup is awesome, everything else is siht" mentality.

He can decide for himself. Look at pictures, see what the headlights look like from an onlooker perspective, check out cutoff pictures etc. etc.

anyone have info on swapping from 06 headlight to 08 and putting HIDs in them. So far the only thing I have coming are the 08 headlights, what else would i need to order? also is there a specific brand I should get because I plan on just purchasing a slim ballast hid kit on ebay.

Look for H11 style kit. I wouldn't buy ebay. MobileHID.com or V-Leds.com for the slim digital kits.

I took these pics and these videos tonight. One is of the warm up of 5000K's in 08 projectors, and the other is me driving home down the street so you can see what it looks like from the drivers POV.

enjoy!

4300K has an approximately 3100lm output, which is more than 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and is the color temperature with the most output. The light appears fairly white, and has light yellowish hue when reflected off the road identical to OEM HID equipped vehicles
6000K has an approximately 2900lm output, which is 3x more the output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 4700K. Although it has a bit lesser light output, it emits pure whiter light with a slight tint of blue.
so if t hats the case 5k is right between them with about 3000lm which is a tad less then 4300k and alil more then 6k. and has a WHITE color to it, 6k is more goin torwards alil blue
