HIDS! 6000k Help Please
Last night i had a huge problem with my hids. For some reason the left hid headlight was not working. When i flick the lights off and on it makes a noise thru my speakers and it works. But recently, it has not been working that way. I purchased this HID on Xenoneyes.com about a year ago. Please help me solve my problem.
You have to give us more info then that.
First did you connect it directly to your OEM harness ? or did it come with it's own harness. Where did you ground it ?
Did you try switching bulbs from either side ? Try just plugging in your normal bulbs and see if this is a HID problem or a bad ground from somewhere else.

Srry about the info. The HID kit is a plug and play. i just wire the hardness to the ballast and lock the blub to the headlight.
This happen ever since i install my avic d3 navi from a local stereo store.
Is it the ground wire from the avic d3 is in a bad location.
update:
I realize today when i turn on the HID lights the left side is not working and the right is working
It takes about 20mins until there is squeak noise thru my speakers and the left hid light is on.
Once i turn it on its the same process over and over
thank you

Ballast will make noise as they age........they get a hum..........in a 12v system the hum can be picked up throughthe speakers pretty easy........they act like a toner......check all your grounds.........then check the ballast.
I'd tried taking it back to the local stereo store and seeing where they grounded the AVIC.
For now I suggest just taking out your HID's so you can prevent damage to both your ballast, bulbs and potentially your car's OEM harness. Better safe then sorry.
