I have had hids in my car and they worked fine for a good two months and then they started to flicker once and awhile it looked like they we winking but only on one side. I keep bringing them back to the store and they keep giving me new ones but it continues to do the same thing....any ideas why????

i think its just the quality of the bulbs...

flickering is usually indicates that the bulb is going out

Looks like you got no choice but to go back.

I recommend finding a better relay maybe.

I had the same problem with my hids from operatic. Both sides would go out though. It ended up being a cheap fuse on the power wire losing connection. I replaced all the fuses with good quality ones and not one problem since. I would just turn on the hids and go to the engine bay and try to make the problem reoccur by moving the wires around. Thats how I determined my problem.

it's normal for it to flicker once after around 2-3 minutes after turning on. But after that, it should stay stable. If it keeps flcikering for the duration of operation, try switching to a different brand of ballast.
