Well on CSI ya, but in most cases they wont bother doing it.

I know thats sad that I know that, but I saw it recently. (thats the one that they matched the paint)

Dim wits just keep on driving, polluting our air (since they don't register the car, they don't have to smog it), you know the story. I know people who have had their tags stolen off their plates. Obviously someone is using the stolen tags on some sort of car to get around.
