Which Hood Pin Lock is better?
I'm getting a Kaminari CF Hood, so I might need a hood pin lock as well.
Can you guys give me some advice on it?

Well I could be wrong, if I am, by all means if someone has actual hands-on experience chime in for the OP... but I've seen several different cf hoods installed on tC's and I don't remember seeing any of them utilizing hood pin locks.
So that leads me to believe that at least some of the cf hoods for our tCs are designed to use the OEM hardware. With that said, unless you're building a car that is ONLY meant for use in a track/race setting.... I'd stay away from using hood pins if you have the option to use the OEM latch hardware, simply because even if you install the pins, the act of drilling a hole(s) in any solid panel can possibly compromise the integrity of it, especially over time.
That's just my 2 cents on the subject... hope that helps in your decision process.

If you do decide to go for a hood lock, go for the first style that you posted. Much more secure and discreet. However all aftermarket CF hoods for the tC utilize the factory hood latch, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I've got the first ones you posted (aerocatch) with my seibon. Though I also use the oem latch as well. I'd rather be safe than sorry, but that's just me, i'm kinda paranoid. haha
