Default How hard is it..install ground effect

I munched the driver side of my stock TC on a high curb around a barrier post. Messed it up pretty bad. I'm wondering how hard it would be to find the stock part and yank the messed up one off and install a new indigo ink one.

Granted I can still find an indigo ink driver side ground effect.

if all you're trying to do is a side skirt, it is relatively simple. i did a kit a while ago, and from what a i remember the side skirt is mostly plastic plugs and probably a couple of 10 mms.

30 min job for inexpereinced tops

i doubt a dealer would sell just a side skirt so you'll have to shop around.

if you need to do the whole kit, forget it. it's a pain in the dick. totally not worth the effort

Yep, dealer quoted me $475 for driver side stock ground effect, not including labor. I DON'T THINK SO!!!

Hurry someone crunch the passenger side of their tc beyond repair!

Thanks but I'm not into changeing the look of my tc that much. The toyota upraded body kit is too low for drivng through the muck here in Minnesota in the winter.

Hey thanks, McGeorge has right side toooo. Man getting it painted could be tricky. Anyone got any ideas on that?

the only thing i can think of is try to have a bodyshop get the paint code for your car and try to match it up as much as possible gl

EVEN BETTER!!! Emailed McGeorge and found the part to be of the lowered upgrade set so it wont work for me. Paul at McGeorge said they just put the kit on a new Tc and had the stock ones taken off in BP4 blue and white. He can't sell them as new because they are taken off a new car??? So he sold me one for $100 plus shipping.
Wow it's nice to get such a break after having such a bad run. Paul at McGeorgeparts.com is the Shiznit!!!

FYI. Toyota figures the part as the driver sitting in the seat. So I need the left side skirt to fix my driver side blemish.
