ha ha after re-reading all of that I am a little lost now too.

SO I think you have to go with the mobileHID kit because it comes with the harness or you can get the harness from the TRD Sparks website

ok, you are putting in the 08+ head lights right? This requires an H11HID Kit if you are doing HIDs. Don't really worry about all the details that I could get into. If you have the 08+ head lamps the H11 Bulb HID kit will work. If you have any doubts, look at the first post on Mobile HID sponsored sale.

Yea but he has the 9006 harness, where are you going to plug the H11 kit into? I pretty sure he needs a 9006 HID kit with H11 bulbs.

^exactly, factory 9006 connector to 9006 hid ballast, ballast to h11 bulb cuz the connectors on the bulbs are all the same regardless of bulb type.

^^^This is true if he was not going HID, but if he goes HID it will be pretty much plug in play. All he would need it the 9006 HID ballasts and H11 bulbs. If he is not running HIDs then he would have to buy the harness converter.

Yeah, I was going to say I just got the HID kit and it is all plug and play. Haven't hooked the battery up yet so I am not sure if it works but everything plugged in correctly.

Also to answer the orgional question 09 headlights fit on an 06 with no problem. It required very little modification in order to get them to fit.

Kirby, I just got my 08 headlights today.. gunna install tonight and I already have 9006 HIDs on my car. After reading through this thread a few times, it looks like i'm going to plug in my new h11 (just bought this from mobilehid since i bought the projectors) into the previous harness. Will snap pics for ya if I remember. Excited to install

Okay, everything fit on mine just fine.

I wasn't really worried about the wiring just the fitment of the housing its self.

But everything came out nice.
