Default Installing the OEM tc Spoiler

ok i just bought the OEM pedistral spoiler and was wondering can use some strong 3m tape if so what kind cause honeslty i dont want to drill a hole in the car..

Ive heard alot of people tape the spoiler to the car just need to know what tape i saw some gorilla tape or 3m tape and was wondering can i use that

You should really use the hardware for the spoiler, the spoiler is heavy and doesn't have a lot of mounting surface like the lip spoiler.

your probably right....dont wanna be doing 70 mph on the highway and it comes flying off onto another person windshield

maybe il have some do it for me

Yea, if it was the lip one 3M would be just fine, but the pedestal doesn't have enough mounting surface to really hold with just 3M tape. I haven't heard of anyone mounting it with just tape.

just go to the toyota dealer and get the tamplet its not hard

it comes with everything..........all i would have to do is dril the holes align and screw on...

i was just asking if i should tape it or screw it on thats all i think i know my answer..screw on safest way

i wonder if theres a DIY here gotta check

take it back and get the lip spoiler, then you can use the double sided tape and no drilling. the lip spoiler looks better anyways.

uhh... the factory install uses both..
