It's a really easy mod to do. Actually a lot easier to do with Testors/Pactra paint as opposed to VHT Niteshades. Cheaper too!

Get a lacquer thinner that is safe on plastics, otherwise you'll risk burning through your lights.

If anyone is going to clear coat their tails get one that is UV resistant/protectant. Or over time it could fade and become dull and yellow.

Yah I'm wetsanding today and then clear coating everything so it should look good. Gotta fix my pass mirror blinker too. It's strobing for some reason haha. At least the white shows through alright.

arent ross's paintjobs great? he did my whole rs1 kit. i actually saw your car half painted before he gave it back to you.

although...i used that tint spray on my old car to give the chrome emblems a black chrome look, and the paint ended up chipping off after a short while. when i washed the car the next time it completely came off.

hopefully the same doesnt happen to your tails.
