Default LED Underglow Mounting Question

Okay, I've seen the install guide for installing an underbody kit on a scion tc on oznium. I bought a kit secondhand. If i buy the mounting kits that are sold on oznium is it safe to use the screws included to screw into the bottom of my car? I don't know if the floor in these cars are a simple sheet of metal or if there's some sort of buffer. I just dont want to go to install this thing and end up with screw points coming through the carpet.

Yes, I plan on driving with it off, if that's what you're asking.

You can drive screws into the underside of the car, just make sure they're no longer than a half inch. I recommend coating the threads and heads with rtv or sillicone to help prevent rusting of the sheetmetal. Under most of your carpet is carpet padding, the screws shouldn't penetrate thru that if you're careful. If you're leary of screws sticking thru the carpet, use rivets.
