Default Looking To Get Fogs For My TC.....Need Help

I know there are 2 different methods you can choose from. The ones that you put on your lower grill, and the ones you put on the bumper itself. I was looking on amazon and I seen both.....the grille is $86.....and the other is about the same. Are those fair prices? What's strange is that I seen another fog light kit for $192.......I'm confused as to what the kit comes with. Is it better to have the fogs in the grill? Or on the bumper? Anybody can shed some some light?

it just depends on which ones you want. there's the popular VRD foglights in which you can purchase on ebay for around $100...

or the ones from Scion which are pretty price but they do have knockoffs on ebay in which i dont recommend, the glass on the light and grill itself is cheap...

search VRD foglights to find more pics. of course there's other foglights but these 2 are probably the best and most popular.

ive had both, bought my car with the oem fogs (lower picture up top) and loved them for a while, but they just never seemed to look right, makes the tc look buck-tooth.......

now i have VRD's, (top picture) and i love them, they fit the tc way better

the only problem with VRDs is the light is a bit scattered, no biggie, but the oem's had a much cleaner light beam

but i say VRD's all the way!!

Yeah, I'm switching from my oem fogs to the VRD fogs pretty soon here.

i do love the looks of my vrd's, they dont do much for actual lighting, mainly a cosmetic thing. those blazer fogs look nice though....

^agreed

they have a pretty sweet cutoff and respond great to HIDs, im sure someone with fiberglass skills could use VRDs for a mold and make a housing for blazer fogs, lol

sounds like a pretty sweet idea....................hhmmmm

personally i never like either vrds or the oem fogs. Don't think either of them flow. I like the one where you can hide them deep into the bumper holes. I have the piaa 002 led fogs on my car. prolly will replace them with the piaa 004xt wid yellow lamps.
