Are there any companies that sell larger brake calipers for the stock rotors? I have new rotors that im getting for christmas and wanted to improve on the calipers as well. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Not that I'm aware of. You can buy the Big Brake Kit from Wilwood. that comes with rotors and calipers. I think maybe Stoptech has a kit(not sure). Um the TRD Big Brake kit for the celica fits our car. But I dont think anyone sells just upgrade calipers by themselves. The best thing to do Is Invest in some nice brake pads and some stainless braided lines. And paint the caliper. So it will feel like new breaks and look like new breaks and perform well too.

Cool thanks man. has anyone done any reviews or had any problems with the stop tech stage 1 kit? i know it has upgraded pads and braided lines. And I was originallly planning to paint the calipers if i couldnt find anything. So now the question is should i paint them black or red?

 

I go red to match the car and to set the rs rims off.

I know Endless makes good brake kits and i saw an add in Modified Mag that said they are now selling 12 pot calipers. Still can't find a place that sells them.

I was going to say the majority of a BBK cost is the Calipers. If I were you I would just look into TRD's BBK or The stoptech stage 1 kit.

I definately will, most likely will do it during my winter break while im off for college. I always seem to do work on my car during the coldest season

i like my setup with decent inexpensive d/s rotors and red paint on the calipers. too bad i dont have an RS1... that would look sick.

 

yeah, i think the black painted rotors will look good
