well, there's only 1 type of trd lowering springs. best place to get them would either be mcgeorgeparts.com or ebay.com

Both McGeorge and TRDSparks have pretty good prices on the TRD springs. I can't remember which is cheaper off the top of my head. I did the install about a month ago and love it. It is the perfect drop in my opinion.

TRD Springs are ALMOST a perfect drop. You might need 18s and/or a nice offsetted rim (+35 is perfect IMHO.) in order for perfection. Depends if you like the wheels tucked or flush.

Hmm its about a 1.25 inch drop total right?? IS that even after its fully settled? Im in Texas and we have some pretty sh***y roads around here and im not looking forward to scraping...+ another reason these springs are perfect is because you dont have to buy new shocks with them

For NorthEast, I dont care what anyone says, TRD is the perfect drop. You still get the good looks of a lowered car without the hassle (somewhat) of the VERY crappy roads. I have hit huge potholes and bumps in the road and the car takes them like a champ. I can pretty much drive normal and that says alot coming from a 2" lowered H-Accord

trd springs are good, but i went with coilovers for adjustability and also because trd springs looked too high for me. i sold my trd springs.

well coilovers are coilovers so the height will always vary between people with the same brand. its all personal preference.

as far as TRD, there are many threads in the "sus & hand" section where you can see the drop.

if you're not planning on replacing shocks and don't want to deal with blown shocks too quickly, go with trd. it's the mildest drop and therefore your stock shocks will last longer than with any other aftermarket springs you'll get.

how long would you guys suspect your stock shocks would last with the TRD springs. Not really lookin to change out my shocks with the springs and wondering how long I would get with the stock shocks on the TRD springs? I love the drop, just dont really wanna have to put any other money in because I did it ya know....

It really depends on driving habits, but it's definately not an immediate worry. TRD springs provide the most modest drop, so you'll be playing it safe to use them with stock shocks moreso than any other.
coilovers are great, but are a complete waste of money if you don't plan on racing or doing autocross. Yeah, theyre adjustable, but who really wants to get an alignment everytime you do so? I had Tein SS coilovers on my old Integra and IMO it was a waste of $1,100.

hey man you can just come and see my car i have the TRD drop with 18s and another guy here has the trd drop with the stock rims. and then theres a guyy who i think has tien springs with stock rims

i was considering coilovers because I wanted a specific kind of drop that no springs would give but coilovers would have let me do it. but i didn't wanna spend that much money for them and I found a set of brand new TRDs for $100 and went with those.

we can even hook you up with some driveway installation goodness
