Mirror cover glue.... HELP!!!
I used silicone glue on my carbon fiber mirror covers and was wondering if I can remove them? Does anyone know how to do this? I was thinking about just using heat but I wasnt sure. Any help would be appreciated
if your selling the mirror covers then just try your hardest to sell them to a SW tC that way you don't have to pay extra for paint by getting theirs as well. as for getting them off try using a hairdrier to heat up the glue and hopefully they come right off without snapping.
I can get pics but I prolly wont sell them because I dont have my stock covers and I would like to keep these. If I cant get them off then I will leave them as they are
I am going to try the heat and maybe use the fishing string or something to use to "cut" through the glue. I believe it is just a silicone sealant. I will let you know.
BTW LEDmod.com , how much do you charge for an LED swap for my turn signal, gauge cluster, and HVAC?
