Well we got some serious rain today and floods everywhere. Made like 5 u turns to try to find the best way home. I finally was doing good and then bam hit a huge puddle and my lip kit came right off sooo ____ed! well went and looked at it after stepping in a small lake... it got ripped off in 2 pieces and cracked....so i just launched it...now what shall i do....

 

oem or an aftermarket kit?

yeah i hit 2 large dips goin about 60 tryin to beat the light... i got some air and my bumper has a fat scrape, as well as my exhaust got flattened. if i had a body kit, it wouldve been gone for sure. no worries, just get it fixed later. it doesnt bother u if u dont think about it

obvious: get a new front lip
mean: tear off the remaining lip pieces and throw away since they are useless vain pieces of garbage that just add unneccessary weight to your ride.
sarcastic: replace front lip with a cow catcher

lol, i'm just kidding, it really sucks when something minor happens to your tc like that. i was driving down the interstate monday morning through fog and rain, and i ran over a box that messed up my oem fog lights. i'm taking it to a body shop monday to see if i need a new front bumper, grill, or maybe they can just fabricate somthing to hold it back in place.

how fast did you hit that puddle anyway to take off your front lip like that anyway?

had that happen to someone who lives by me awhile ago. Think he still drives around without a lip! Sucks, his car was modded out!

 

one of the reasons i choose not to the lip kit was i knew that i would bottem out or hit it on a curb and ruin it, losing it in a puddle is now on there. besides, body kits look better.

 

that sucks man.
