Default My tC front end, work in progress

So far I have gotten rid of all amber, eyelids, custom grill, and Silverstar lights.

The pics don't do the lights justice at all, they are AMAZING. I love em.

Did you do the grill yourself, and if so, how?

Yea I did the grill myself. Its just some cheap $2.00 GutterGuard from Home Depot. Took the stock grill apart, took the chrome trim off, shaped the gutterguard to fit where old grill went, made some cuts for the notches, painted, then popped it in. Then put some black electrical tape on vacuum hoses and other silver parts behind grill to hide them.

Which eyelids did you get? Did you get them already painted or take them somewhere? How much?

I've been considering the eyelids on my SSM for a while but just haven't gotten around to really making a decision.

It certainly looks better then that one the other day with the crooked logo on the
grill and cutouts that looked like a rat gnawed the grill out!

Show some closeups!!

Actually I just took the lights out, left the sockets empty, but that left the amber peice still in there. So I had a shop put black vynle on top of that, that cut it perfectly, can't tell at all.

I got them from Mazda6stuff (i think thats his name) the ones he sells are really good quality. He lives here in Orlando, so I got lucky and just drove over and picked them up. Then I had a local body shop paint them to match the car.
