need acid!!
for water spots on windows use a fine grade of steel wool and any liquid type wax. you will be amazed how easy even the worst water spots come out, just thought I would lend a helping hand if anyone is leary of using vinegar, i dont recommend it
You're worried about using vinegar but you're all for the steel wool?
Dude.
Vinegar is a much gentler cleaner than the alchohol in most window cleaners.
Have you tried steel wool on or windows yet? I'd be afraid of that--Toyota glass chips and scratches pretty easily.

Ive been a professional detailer for 5 years and am a certified professional by Blue Coral. I have never once used vinegar, I have always used a FINE grade of steel wool and I have never once scratched a window inside or out, and the last 3 years have been nothing but toyota cars. I posted this method cause a couple people said they were not sure about using vinegar, or acid for that matter, so i simply posted a safer cleaner alternative.
