Default Need Confirmation on Tails

Ok, so I have a 2010 and want the solid red tails out of an 05/06. I have heard or at least have been led to believe that these are a direct swap. Can someone confirm this for me? I have two guys interested in swaping me and I want to get back to them.

they are pretty much a direct swap but you need the 05-07 bulb harness that in in the tail light. other than that it is a direct swap

Is this a simply plug and play swap or do I need to cut and reconnect wires? Just trying to figure out how tricky this is going to be and what not.

Funny, I just noticed that you are in Spotsylvania. I used to live down there off route 3 (actually take route 3 to route 621, lived in Lake Wilderness)!

no cutting or anything, if the 06 tail light has the bulb harness in it then you just plug it into the factory connections in the back.

yea I live 2 mins from lake anna state park.

Well, I would litterally be swaping them on the scene if you will. So both cars will be there and both cars currently have their lights intact and functional. So I guess I just need to know what is being pulled out and what not. It is sounding like I can simply disconnect the harnass and leave all the bulbs in place with the wires hanging off them and swap from car to car correct? Sorry, I just haven't taken a look at mine really to have a good enough idea. Even though I tore the whole back end out when doing the springs last Friday. (wasn't focused on lights at the time)

Sweet, your the bomb! Got it! Should be a pretty quick swap all together then. Thanks! I will hit you up the next time I come down that way. I have friends that live in Stafford that I come visit and my wife's cousin also lives in Stafford just past the YMCA.
