Two days ago my father had hit a coyote driving back on the way home. Well that ended up messing my front bumper alot. Now I'm sitting here trying to think of a good way to fix this. I was hoping I could get some suggestions from this forum. The dent near the headlight is not so much a problem.

If the clips holding the bumper on the side are broken than it's either extensive fixing involved with some sort of bonding compound (or superglue?). The other problem is the hanging down bottom peice which could be fixed by any lip i'd say. But for the cost of a lip to cover a fubar'd bumper you are better off buying a used SW bumper from someone. See them often in the For Sale section.

 

Lol those aren't Coyote guts, thats just the bugs you get when you drive out in the country at night for about 2 days.

 

Two days? Geeze.

 

Repairing the bumper will cost way more than buying a new one. Tell your Dad they run about $171 to $220 brand new online and to find a decent paint shop. Or, like RCZDesigns said, check the For Sale section here for someone selling a SW front bumper.

 

That would be a replace and paint job to do it right. Try finding a sw bumper for sale and have it paint matched at a body shop if needed.

As for the bugs.. drive through KS (or anywhere in the country) at midnight in the spring/summer and you will see what he means. I have had my car start shiny clean and be completely yellow from the bumper to the windshield in one nights drive before!

 

yea get a new bumper.. you can check junk yards too or ebay

 

What about your headlight? It appears to be cracked (maybe its just me). If water gets in and condensates then your headlight connections are gonna corode.

 

Would the Kaminari front bumper look good alone or would you need the whole kit?

 

It would look stupid with just the front bumper.
