Default New wheels alternative HELP!

So I'm getting a widebody kit for my tC. Very sexy indeed. And along with it i'm getting a paint job. So now that i'll have wider fenders my wheels will have to come out wider to match. The car showing the kit off had wheels with an offset of zero so i'm using that as a guide.... anyway's my question is this: Is there an alternative way to bring my wheels out to match my fenders without getting new wheels? because everything is getting very expensive, very fast. If so, could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,
Tobias

the studs aint long enough in order to use the massive spacers hed need.

with a zero offset, and the same width wheel as factory, your already pushing the wheel out almost 2 inches. if the rims were wider (and i assume their alot wider) then its getting pushed out even more than that. if your gunna drop the cash into a wide body kit....dont cheap out when it comes to the rims. otherwise scrap the body kit and just get the rims if your going broke.

eeesh this sux. if i have to get new wheels, i'll def get wider ones and then new rubber to go with it.... this is turning into nearly an 8000 dollar project... and i don't suppose i'd find many used 18" or 19" wheels, 8 to 9 inches wide, with zero offset AND the right bolt pattern... STRESS

I know, this stuff can get so expensive, so quickly.

I suppose it's just a lesson for everyone to plan ahead...

I know you can get spacers for our car from H&R that are 25mm and come with new studs so you dont have to worry about that. So if you can find a rim that has a 25mm offset, the 25mm spacer will get you down to 0.

I am going to get spacers as soon as my car comes out from the body shop ....Wheeladapters.com can make custom ones for your car. I have 19x8s . I am going to get 2" spacers so it should sit flush with the new fender flares

I would put 10-12" wide rims on it. Thats my 2 cents. You can fit 10" on a stock TC so why not go bigger.

You can use spacers or multipiece wheels with a custom offset. The wheelspacers are an adapter spacer.

The adapter bolts to the hub just like a wheel does and it has new studs for the wheel to mount.

I did this on my cougar to pushout the 20x9 axis wheels
