Default Is this normal

ok, i recently just noticed, when my wheels are spinnig, rather me doing in maunally or driving,i hear a metal to metal or scraping noise,on the passenger side wheel, now i lifted the car to inspect the wheel,as i was turning the wheel to see if i can still hear the scraping noise,i do,not sure if this is normal but the only thing i can think of are the rotors and pads maybe have uneven wear and tear,or something is too close and scraping,i havent actually taking the brakes apart, but ive had the rotors and pads replaced i say about six months ago cause the similar thing happen, but at that particular time the rotors where shot and couldnt be resurfaced, both the fronts and rear and pads were replaced,i dont brake hard unless i truly have too,and i dont ride my brakes cause i have a 5 speed and im on the gas more then the brakes if you know what i mean......

So bascially what im asking, when you lift up the car and spin the tire, you shouldnt hear any scraping noise correct,if you do what should you look at or inspect...

Inspect the wheel bearings too, check for play and all things associated.

Might look between the dust shield and the rotor, i've had small rocks get stuck in there and make a scraping/scratching sound. Just a thought :O

or the dust shield might be touching the back of the rotor very slightly or something. if it is, just use put on a pair of gloves cuz the dust shield is very sharp...and push it back slightly.

its happened to me a few times.
