What kind of HIDs would you guys recommend i buy. I'm on a tight budget and want whitest possible. I'm thinking 4 - 6000k

Otherwise i have to buy better wireing harness' (or whatever their called) which won't melt at higher wattage. That way i can put back my luminics bulbs.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i am going with a 6000k kit. you could buy one of the kits in the sponsor section or you could buy something else. i am going to go with pro luemens.

JLevi has them, i donno the website but its around here somewhere but they arent in stock,

also Creative Compacts has them too and they are the umnitza DDEs, they are instock and i should be getting mine soon (already paid just waiting for them to show up at my door

 

i checked out sylvanias light guide for the tc, does anyone know about the COOL BLUE halogens? are they safe, do they burn, do they look nice? id love HIDs but a retrofit is real expensive.

We're probably going to stop selling HIDs for a while until the NHTSA tells us it's ok.

 

very interested, how does the install go? and will these be compatable with the projectors that we are trying to get umnitza to make? (you might not know that but could you ask them? ) im getting a nice fat check tuesday and im stuck on what to get. is the 5000k straight up white? and will it match the DDEs?

 

is $159 a good price for the demon eyes? I am looking to buy them and a dimmer switch. Does anybody think this is a good/bad idea? My plans are to get the power from my parking lights so they go on on a dimmer switch w/ the parking lights

 

^not a bad price and must know some electrical stuff before you install.....just basics tho

 

Install isn't too bad - bake th eheadlights open, install, bake them closed. If you need help there are local installers ;)

As for the dimmer switch - don't do it. I guarantee you'll NEVER use it. Once you see how beautiful and bright the rings are, you will be set. I know, I had dimmers ;)

hmmm... i love the demon eyes look, and just an idea that i had that you may consider for the future, is having the outside ring in that same white color, but have the inside ring (around the high beam) in amber and have it hooked up to the turn signal. just thought that would look pretty cool...

Ok looking at this thread has really made me want some deamon eyes but quick couple Q's, Jlevi is it possible to get diffrent color rings, or is white the only color avail? also the 4 halo rings can be installed on the stock TC headlamp right, no need for any modifications to it, if so what kind? thanks in advance

 

We can special order different colors but it takes time and costs money. They ARE installed on the stock headlights with little to no modification, you just need to bake the headlights open, then closed.
