Bump for the SCM cult!

 

i'll have some this week since i will have some updates on the ride. im gonna give it a nice wash and detail when i get home tomorrow and prolly take some pictures

 

Hey guys I will post up pictures tomorrow of the cars newest autograph we managed to score at Formula Drift today in Monroe........Scion did us all up with free passes,car show,chicken and ribs catered lunch,crapload of prizes,and.....we got to have a private signing with Ken Gushi and Tanner Foust..........and I got a very special Auto from Tanner......you will all laugh when you see it if you follow his show on Speed Channel........

I am beat to ____ now,got up at 5am,drove for 90 minutes to get there for show entry.........and got home18hours later.......so pictures of it tomorrow,also Gushi updated his auto for us and we got like 3 signed tires by them both off their cars.........

It rocked........Tanner got knocked out the first round.........but should of gone on,his car is a beast........Gushi.......he twisted and broke the drive line and was eliminated.........both were super cool.

 

tanner was elimated in the first round to... gushi killed it when i went i think he got 4th. ( this is round 3)

 

We just had Round 5 today........we have a fast track up here,wehn they hit the first corner they are at like 72mph.......it is incredable,and a long corner too.......both Tanner and Gushi were mad.......tanner even went up to the booth of judges to compaine and see where the errors were that got him eliminated.......his 4 runs were top knotch and he is running for points for the championship too......so he was mad.......poor Gushi.....not much he can say about breaking........he remembered us from last year.......my wife thinks he is super hot..........and has become friends with him at the races.......tanner was super cool too........they were filming the SuperCars Exposed there........while Tanner was signing with Gushi for us all......and said to watch the show......I am wondering if it is going to be put in with some of the races .........fingers crossed cause my wifes hooties were in the shot when he was talking to the camera.......lol.......

 

Well here is the newest autograph......Tanner was really cool about signing it as such and laughed that it was really funny we thought of doing that and told us it was a little late for it this year......If you watch Supercars Exposed he gets pulled over and a ticket like every other episode......lol



And Gushi updated his auto for us by adding '09 to it.....very cool.



And of course Troy from Five Axis is on the car too........not sre where that photo is though......

Well gotta go finish the polish and wax of the clear coat,gotta seal in the autographs so they do not get rubbed off accidently.......

I need to re-install firmware 2.0 on it.

ahh i see...im gonna give my waterfall a few more coats too i think

 

I really want to paint my waterfall, but it's just been so damn humid here is Wisconsin.

 

yeah i ehar that, do it in the garage or somethin, thats where im gonna do mine while i was/wax/vacuum my car in the 90 degree heat lol. but luckily i have a huge tree the covers my driveway with shade where i can wax it

What was the process you used to paint your waterfall?
Did you use primer on it?

 

nah just sanded it down and got all the shiny silver off so it was a dark silver..then just did like 4 coats of the flat black spray...just added 2 more coats yesterday

Figures you guys would like alook at my next mod......I flipped the subs........
Well here is waht I ran out of time to do prior to Drift..........I know CJ is waiting for me to do this......this is step one......I am holding off on painting them till I get the final pieces doen inside and see what needs done.......do not want to over kill the look.......so I am being patient.......which is hard to do........well here are the pictures........it was 6pm when I started,had a hell of a time getting a good seal on the subs........that is why it is dark when I took pictures.......sound on them is way differant,the D3 has a reverse polarity for subs built into the deck so they are now inverted and reverse polarity to push out like normal......the body interior is now the box so to speak.........the lows are clear at a lower hz.........my guess is 40-70hz is clean and hitting now and 80hz up is not as much......befroe it was 30-50 was dull and 50-80 hit hard......much better.......

running 600w to the pair.......no distortion at all very clean.....massage to the body ........blows the hair playig 50cent Candy Shop........freaking loud.......great subs for $65 each........lol
