i have a BSP tC, i was planning on making my front grill gold with spray paint...how do u think itll look?

 

Im leaning towards no but some one prove me wrong with a photoshop or something. Some bronze or gold rims look hot on black cars.

 

i'm gonna have to say no.

Might want to look into extra wide sticky-outy wheels with
fake spokes to go along with it.

 

You're going for the Guido look, right? Use gold leaf and gold plate if anything. Done right it could work. Spray paint is too easy to ruin your ride. Don't forget to gold the emblems too.

really? Why (i don't know tC grilles)

however! an xb's rs2 grille certinanly -could- be so treated- So could that honeycomb grille look cool with "gold" on the front face of the comb (one RS2 man did his honeycombs in yellow)

s0 .... Gold sprays are many and the best look fairly good. Clearcoat.


I never disagreed with mrbridge before! but when people all say 'don't do it' this is the clue to try it out for trial. Think on. Some people have bad taste. Let's find out whose is which. Postapicture if ya do the test.

You could experiment and get some gutter guard at Lowe's and paint it gold. I've read threads on here where people made their own grilles this way. (I don't recommend gutter guard grilles because they are a b%$@& to cut and do not look very well IMO.) If it doesn't look right, at least you didn't ruin your stock grille in the process. Its just a suggestion, so take as you want to.

 

IMO leave it alone or purchase a new grill, grillcrafts looks the best. Painting looks cheesy and crappy.
