One of my HID lights is out. It's been out for like a month and i've been pulled over twice. My friend tells me it's just the bulb, so would I be good ordering just a bulb? Or am I going to completely need to buy a new kit?

just buy a new bulb usually bulbs are cheap, now if u need a new ballast just buy a new kit, ballast are as much as a new kit anyway.

 

swap the bulb to verify it.

 

yeah do this so you can see if its the bulb or the ballast that needs to be replaced. oh and if you dont have a relay harness installed i suggest you get one.

 

So wait, your light has been out for over a month, you've been pulled over for it, and can't simply switch the bulbs or order a new one? WOW
