That's like going to a bodyshop, having them do a paintjob, you accept the work, and then 24 hours later say you don't like it.

I am not going to argue with you. Yes, there were a couple dust nibs on the door handles, you can clearly see that in the pictures. I did explain to you that I did an "ok" job on the door handles. Out of all of the pieces the door handles and the steering wheel control with the buttons were not my best work.
If you could have done a better job, by all means go for it, I would love to see you try.
I also mentioned to you that I normally don't paint the door handles. On tC's yes, xB's no. The main reason behind that is because the texture on the tC's is alot smoother than that of the xB's. The only piece that had paint chips was the steering wheel control with the buttons in it. I specifically told you numerous times that if I could not remove the buttons I didn't want to paint it. As a result the paint bonded to the tape and when I went to remove it I got jagged edges which I wasn't happy with.
The dust nibs were in the basecoat, so there was no way I was going to remove the paint or sand it down just for one small little particle. Once again like I said on the phone "I cleared the inside of the handles, but not that much. Reason for that was because if I applied to much clear there would have been runs in there. If that does happen it's a PITA to wet sand and buff out by hand".
It takes a lot to ____ me off, and I'm more than happy to say that I am glad I won't be painting anything else for you. Out of the numerous pieces I painted for you, I would have to say there are at least 3 pieces I wasn't happy with.
Steering wheel control, driver door handle, and passenger door handle.
Why did I paint them? Because you told me to. Before I painted the steering wheel controls I called you from inside the paint booth and told you I had trouble removing the buttons and you told me to tape them off the best I could. I kept telling you I didn't want to and you kept pushing me to "do what I can".
That's why I stick primarily to tC pieces and why I am doing a DIY on painting the interior. So people can do it on their own and not have to go through me. If they can do a better job, then props to them.
Sorry you're not happy with the job.

Even my paint instructor said the pieces were good with the exception of 2 pieces....this is coming from a guy that is very difficult to impress with paint work.
Out of the 117 customers I have had 114 have been very satisfied and would return for more stuff to get completed. 2 of the unsatisfied were because of late shipping, 1 actually for paint work.

Its all good man me and you know that dust nibs are a _____ to take out once they are on the basecoats and if the customer was willing to pay more to get that nib off we would do it but since some ppl dont then all we can do is leave it there. dont worry bout it man if you want you can paint mine for free to get practice hahahah jk man. FLEA FTW
Its a fkin scion and people are crying this bad about a dust particle or 3?
Flea did my eyelids for me, and did a killer job. But unfortunately the shippers aren't as ginger with the stuff as flea is and they got a little messed up. He was trying to offer to fix them for me for free but i'm not like that, he's done good, making him re-do a mistake that wasn't his fault, or that you anticipated would happen, is using him.
If I was local to him and didn't have to pay for shipping and risk the stuff getting damaged i'd be the model-tc for fleawerks, haha
I'm still doing my interior Flea, but I want to try a few other ideas. I played with that first idea and I don't like it, too "hey look at me"
got to think of something else

Dont trip man we all have our good days and bad ive had many dust particles on some of the practice panels ive done in skool all you gotta do is buff it out. Thing is soo shiny u cant even tell theres dust particles under the clear.
where are my lights!!!! hehe. jk man, ive seen your work and i know they are gonna turn out great. plus, lets face it, i tried myself to paint, i failed, i turned to you, either way, its gonna be better than what i painted.
114/117 = 97.4% thats pretty good for a small time business painter.

hey FLEA i just wanted to ask if you received my shipment. The post office takes forever to ship things. I think it was in Ohio for a few days after being shipped from Connecticut lol.
My first fiberglass badgeless garnish should be arrivng any day now. When it does I will post pictures right away of the finished product (unpainted of course).
I am also aiming to have my DIY on painting interiors (with pictures....like all my other DIY's) done by Friday night...this Saturday night at the latest.
Shortly thereafter I will be posting a DIY on how to make a badgeless garnish. This will be for those of you that want badgeless garnishes and want to attempt to do it yourselves.
At this time there is a 5 - 5.5 week waiting period for individuals that want items painted. I have a list of individuals waiting for me to work on their items. Feel free to PM me if you have inquiries, but at this time I am not taking on anymore work until that list is done. The way I see it, take on 2 or 3 member's items, finish, ship, and then take on the next bunch.

hey FLEA, love the work you do
had a quick question, what clear coat would you recommend for interior pieces, that comes in a can of course? and where i could buy it?
how many layers of clear coat should be layed and how long should it cure for before proceeding to wetsand and buff?
thanks and keep up the awesome work!!

Heres n update on my bumper fix right now i had the bumper popped out and reshaped to its original form. Got it to shape the best i can and now its in the filler stage. Hopefully i get it shot with primer next week but not after i sand the whole bumper since i decided to shoot the whole thing instead of blending it.
First application of plastic filler

After shaping and sanding with 80 grit and 150 grit

I'm still doing both...well actually everything. The garnishes I don't announce that much; partly due to the fact that everyone wants one but no one wants to pay the price. Everyone still thinks that to get a garnish done it's iKONA's price....$65 (no idea how he established such a low price).
What color do you want done? Flat or glossy finish? Graphics (water drop effect...CF finish....yes I know how to paint pieces so it looks like real CF). The CF finish is easy if it's a flat surface...but when you have a lot of contours and curves it starts to become more difficult.
So, what do you want done?
