today i got some white led strips to put on my headlights for the r8 look and i spliced them straight into my side marker lights. i turned them on and everything was working great right up until i taped the wires, shut my hood, and turned on my headlights. now they wont turn on and neither will my parking lights under my brights. i checked all my fuses and none of them are busted. if any one has any info or advice on this, it would be much appreciated

 

Re-check your fuses, sometimes it may not look busted but really has a hairline crack in it, replace it anyway

 

i did. i looked them over twice and all of them are fine. i checked the fuse that was for the parking lights like 6 times and its fine. i changed it out for a new one but it still isnt working

 

Thats the only thing I can think of, unless its one of the bigger fuses under the hood, sorry man, hope someone else can chime in and help

 

bigger fuse under my hood? do you know which one would affect it

 

Not sure you would have to check them and see if they are broken

 

Get a 12v test to see if there is any power going to your lights. When you closed your hood did it pinch the wires and make the lights short out rather then the fuze?
