i was installing hids into my fogs because i got tired of non matching color..but anyway.. i acidently let pos and neg touch on one of the sides of the fogs. the lights sparked a bit and turned off. i was wondering how to fix this problem. do i just replace the relay thing inside the car or is there something else i do not know of? help please!! =(

you'd have to take a look in the manual, it should tell you... I really don't know for sure...

 

well i checked the fuse for foglights, it looks fine..i think i have a blown relay. gotta check itout at autozone tomorrow. will they have it there? do you guys suggest checking something else out?

First, Replace the wires that touched. It is possible that they burnt and lost some of their conductivity. If that doesnt do it then you need to recheck every connection.

so just buy a new relay...hopefully its just that....its like 8 bucks or so at autozone i believe....

fck..it wasnt the relay..i think the fuse for it is fine..but is it possible for the wires to burn out? where would i get a new one?

 

i failed..i found the fuse burnt and js replaced it, things work fine now. sigh..looked at this diagram for where the fog fuse was and failed lol.. actually looked at the layout on the fuse map or w.e and it worked. thanks guys.
