Which Projectors to get for 06 Tc
Whats up guys, im having a hard time deciding which projectors i want to get, the thing is i really want em with the angel eyes and i see several different types out there but no clue if any of them are good or reliable products. I heard alot of negatives about the Anzos, even tho they look good.
Few links of Diff Projectors i looked at, if any1 has any info on them like reliability that be much appreciated!

These are few i found doing a search on projector headlights for scion tc. If there are others i missed that exist plz feel free to share those with me, im just looking to buy the right pair. Hopefully some1 out there can shed some light on buying a good pair!

If you are going to get them, buy them on eBay, its the same for cheaper.
I thought about going the projector route, but i decided to do angel eyes, clear corners, and painted eyelids. It looks much better in my opinion.

All of the cut off images I've seen for aftermarket projectors have made me want to puke! That is the only thing keeping me from buying them so far. I know how mad ill be if I buy them and have a TSX pull up next to me.

Price for price though, unless you are a automotive lighting aficionado, the '08 projectors are great. Yes, there are some hot spots but I for one can deal with some hot spots before I pay for a full retrofit.

huh?
The 08 headlights are an easy swap.
Bake the headlights at 250 for 10 mins, pry it open, take the bolts off and screw the new projector in there. rebake the headlights and you're done. After that, mount the ballasts underneath the headlights with double-tape and zip ties, hook al the wiring and fire them up.
You will get alot more light and better looking headlights with that blue/white flickering you see on luxury cars.

Halogen projectors use different optics than HID projectors.
Whereas halogens use a filament to emit their light, HID's have salt in them that upon excitation, they form an arc.
That is the huge difference between halogen and hid projectors.

no, it's the design itself for both the projectors and which bulbs do what to accompany the projectors and get them to work 100%.
here are some pictures i took awhile back.
Left: FX35...Middle: tsX projector....Right: h3 halogen projector
hid projector bowl is bigger and wider.
Now take a look at the design of a tsx and a halogen(bowl only):
TSX on the left, halogen on the right:
And these are my toys:

People sometimes make the mistake that whenever they think a headlight has projectors, that means HID's are fit for them when in reality it is a misconception. i've been there too but then after doing things myself, messing with projectors and spending alot of money, I rectified myself.
