Default Q for those w/ HIDs in stock reflector housings.

What parking lights are you using?
Do the HID bulbs run cooler than stock bulbs? If you aren't sure please don't answer.
I had stock and luminics bulbs and my super bright led 194 6 wedge melted so now i have varad pros which have not melted.
Can i use superbrightleds 194 wedges with a plug n play hid kit?
Post pics of your cutoff if you have any.

HIDs in stock housing will create a lot of glare and hot spots. HID bulbs run cooler than halogens and there will be no cut off with the stock housing. best bet would be to retrofit

^ he's talking about leds in the 194 spot, not the hid's.. just curious if hte hid's are gonna kill the led "city lights"
HID's run at 35W i believe.. vs stock 50w.. have you tried the superbirght 5 led? w/ the side firing? gets some crazy reflection and lights up the housing the most.. i have those 6 led ones too but they are direction and dont light up the housing at all.. i have one 5 led that is now flickering due to failure from heat or cheapness.. nto sure...

they fail because of heat.. and quality... some higher quality leds can withstand more heat..

it's both.

They've been in there for a LOOOONG time. Back even when I had Luminics bulbs haha. I'd say about 3 maybe 4 months now with the 6000k HIDs...
