Default Question about TC signal lights

Hi, i just bought my scion tc and i hate the amber colored signaling lights in the front of my car so I wanted to change it to clear ones but I'm a little confuesed. Im confused about whether I have to change the COVER or just the light bulb? I serached for previous posts in this forum and all I found was where to get the light bulbs. Can someone help me out please.

Please let me know do i have to change the bulb and the cover, and maybe where i can get them. Thanks alot!

hmm? you change the bulb for the turn singal that's in your headlight.. the size is 7440.

it's a bulb.

if you are also referring to your sidemarkers in your headlight.. the amber reflector.. that you can't remove unless you open up the headlight.

also.. welcome to the forums

Thanks,

Yea I was wondering where i can buy a clear sidemarker cover? I really hate the amber color and I have seen TC's on the streets that have the cover CLEAR instead of amber.

yes i am talking about the amber/ orange part.

SO, the only way to get rid of the amber is to make the cover myself? I can't buy them somewhere?

Thanks for all the help!

Yea like the bottom pic. The ones i seen on the streets look like just a normal clear side marker cover but yea it looks very similar.

you either have to make them yourself.. which requires baking your headlights...

or purchase something like the second picture which will cost you an arm and a leg.

btw.. just because... i'm moving this to the appropriate area.

those particular ones pictured in the second picture above are created by clearcorners.com

they charge upwards of at least $1k for them though.

where are you located? i might be able to help you.

Just so you know...in California, that is illegal and will cause you a hassle in some fix-it tickets
