Default radiator cooling plate

Ive read that the radiator cooling plate doesnt do much except for cosmetic features which is cool. My question is which one is preferred, Greddy or Dr Iso? Do either need modification to be installed? Thanks for the help. Very interesting topics and looks like lots of helpful hints.

they are specially made for the tc, so no modding needs to be done.

I would go with doc I, his are cheaper, and can be customized. not to mention i would way rather support someone on the forums here with buying from them instead of going thru a big company that overprices "cooling" plate

here is dr. i's plate, fits perfect and was great for covering the gap. the price is right too!

p.s. it's easy to paint/customize...

I'm planning on gettin a Doc. I for sure :-)

I can't decide though, if I want to have the textured finish that he usually does or, order it with out the finish and then paint it to color match my car (BSP). What do you guys think?

I wish I got the textured finish. I got the smooth and it's like a soft rubbery surface.
