should i go 6000k or 8000k?
simple question. I been running 6000k it pretty nice but i wonder if there is a big change in color if i switch to 8000k. Which one do you guys like better? BTW i have a SW tC
I have 6K's in mine and they're great. I wouldn't mind having some 5K's tho for the whiter light as opposed to the slight blueish that the 6k's give off. Mobile HID is an excellent kit so keep that in mind...
If the light looking blue is your main concern, go with 8000k.
If you want brighter, more natural lighting that also has a nice small amount of blue, go with 6000k.
I have a 6000k kit from MobileHID.com and it is simply excellent and MobileHID has superb customer service.
I plan to install some foglights sometime, in which I will put a 5000k set from MobileHID also.
If you really want someone to tell you what to do, I'm telling you to go with 6000k.

j/k
chris do you still that pic of our cars in the parking lot......that way he can see what they both look like side by side
won't the brand of hids have some affect on the actual color?
I have mobilehids 8000k which I feel have enough blue to look nice, but not get pulled over (10000k is when you'll probably start getting pulled over).
For the best nighttime vision, go with 5000k, but the drop off between 5000k and 6-8000k, I don't think it is that dramatic. 10000k would really start to make it harder to see.
