they work in all 9005/9006 setups.
the 9012-hir bulb throws down 1700 lumens at 55w
while a normal 9006 bulb tosses out 1000 lumens at 55w
the 9011 hir bulb tosses at 2300 lumens at 65 w
and the normal 9005 bulb puts out ~1700 lumens at 65 watts
a philips d2s bulb puts out 3200 lumens.

hir bulbs gives off a white light and are bright.
