Any pictures of these on the TC? I'm kind of interested since I don't really have the $$ for HIDs...

I wrote about Silverstars before - they are bright as hell, no matter what anyone tells you. I get complaints *all the time*.

They're the best regular-style headlight IMHO, except they don't last much longer than 6-8 months. (You can get another month with the flick trick.)

well ive heard that they last for a very long time as long as you dont touch the tip so when you install it wear gloves and be very careful

i just saw a commercial for these as well....honestly, i'll stick with my piaa xtreme whites since i already have them (otherwise i'd give these a try). i've always had good experiences with these piaas (they last many many years). when/if my piaas burn out, i'm just going to order a set of HIDs this time around....no more halogen!

I think they last something like 50 hours or so longer. Still pretty ridiculous, if you ask me.

The last thing I want is for my $30+ investment to suddenly disappear one night and drive around like those losers without headlights or just one headlight

Well worth the money!! They are the whitest brightest non-HID light you can buy!! They don't burn the harness!! Just get them! You won't be disappointed. I'm gonna get my high beams and markers next, but if your're strapped just get the lows, cause you use them probably 90% of the time anyway.

I just went back today and picked up the high beams. I got regular Silverstars for those, couldn't really see spending the few extra bucks for highs when you only use them part of the time. Nice difference over stock though for sure!
