i have a 09 tc with a stock brake light. and i noticed today when someone stepped on the brake for me it doesnt light the whole thing up. just the center. is this how everyones is? or is mine blownout

 

Only like 6? or something LED's in the center light up.

yea, its pretty ghetto. Thats why a few companies sell "Full third brake lights."

It's easy to install and it's plenty bright.

^^how long has yours lasted, I have read some have burned out pretty quick but I know they have a pretty good return policy for them.

I had one that a few LED's burnt out on after having it a few weeks..got a replacement from oznium like 2 days later no questions asked and the one I currently have on is going 2-2 1/2 years strong

As you've read, the stock tail light only has the middle 6 inches light up. The remaining is a reflector.

I have the oznium TBL. Had the first one for about a year before three of the LED's burned out. It was either the harsh winters we have had lately in Chicago or due to rushed repair work done on the hatch by a local body shop.

Called Oz and got a replacement had it in 2-3 days, been perfect since

The Oz TBL is really bright and doesn't lag or flicker when you brake. Its a great product.
