suggested 3M tape placement on rs1 front lip?
i just picked one up last night and want to run it temporarily to get used to driving with it (am on s-techs) before i take it to get painted.
i plan on using two screws on each end in the bumper wells, as well as the 3M heavy duty double sided tape, but i am not 100% certain of where to put it other than the small section that sits on the area in front of the lower grill. i will also be smoothing out the sharp/rough edges with a dremel.
remember, i want to keep it on temporarily for a week or so, so i don't want to over do it.
suggestions from those with experience with this lip are welcomed.
**also, if anyone can recommend a shop in the la/oc area that doesnt charge an arm and a leg to paint it, that would be great. i've called a few shops, and none would give me phone quotes.

Good, haha. Thats it. Just get a big piece of tape and line the part where the lower grill is, right by the edge, then as big of a piece as you can in the air duct areas.
I riveted the ends (the two holes on either side). Used two rivets per side rather than just screws or bolts. Much more permanent, and a better thief detourant IMO. They will have to have a drill with them to take my lip or exhaust shield. Or they can break it off and make it useless.

yeah you save a lot that way I did the same thing. I painted my lip kit myself and I ended up painting my interior as well. Turned out pretty good. People always ask who painted them and I tell them that I did it myself.
