Default Sunroof stuck on one side..

I searched for any info on how to fix this. It might be from the winter frost? Anyways, the sunroof is stuck on the driver side. I tried to push it up, but it won't budge. What can I do besides take it in to the dealership?

If you think it is weather related, bring it into a garage and let it get to room temperature. Or take a heat gun (keep it far far away when applying heat) and heat it up that way. Otherwise, how is it stuck on one side? What are you noticing that is making you think that? Is the passenger side a bit farther back because it is attempting to open, and the driver's side is staying? Is that was it happening? Well if that is what is happening, that's not that big of a deal because it is one motor that pulls the whole window open so at least that is working. I doubt something came off track though. If you find that it is not weather related, then you are going to have to take the headliner off and pull it all apart to see what is not turning or spinning. I'd get my fingers in there and pull it open while someone pushes the button. If that's not working, then there's something much worse going on. That whole mechanism is not very difficult to understand, so once you are seeing it, you'll know what you have to do, it's exactly like a door.

the top can open, but the only the passenger side opens up. i cant slide the sunroof outward cause the driver side is stuck and wont budge. the motor works if its opening the passenger side so maybe the driver side mechanism is stuck somewhere.

Try some WD-40 my roof used to close only halfway then get stuck and open back up so I would have to put pressure on it when I closed it to close all the way.
I sprayed some WD-40 and the tracks and wheels and it closes fine now.

LOL. Classic! Havent seen that pic in a while. Use silicone spray or silicone grease that you can apply with a brush. And heat it with a hair dryer not a heat gun.
