Sunstrip (tint) Legal or Illegal in California?
I wanted to put a sunstrip on my car, but i'm not sure what the legal size is in California. I've heard that as long as the windshield wipers don't touch it's ok,
But the Scion wipers reach the top of the windshield. Can someone please help clarify this?
Thanks

If I remember correctly...
You cannot add a strip legally in CA. The vehicle code states no tint on windshield or driver/passenger door glass. And glass behind driver/pass legal only if you have dual side view mirrors.
On factory tinted windshields, there is a line/marking that shows the limit of an upper tint.

CA Allows 4" of Visor Tint Added

Tint Laws Vary in other States so Check your State's Tint Laws
