Dont worry about it. I think its great to see something new... different... other than stock!!! If everyone liked the color, it would be the only color scion offered when buying new. lol. And major props on the bumper... it is all too rare that someone will do what you have to make it work.

I personally am looking forward to dry dayshot pics.

All of this anticipation for pictures and what a let down. Not feeling the rims or body kit at all. Color looks ok too. Interior is definitely a plus with the upgraded seats and roll cage. There is no flow or continuity to the car at all.

I agree with all the anticipation and the final result... It'd be much better if you only had one page to look through to get to the pics.

It makes you expect like and insane FI setup or something along that line.

 

not a fan of the color but its not bad im more in to a

black or white not to many other colors i like lol (probly becosue im color blind) but it looks good just extend the top for the muffler and maybe a turbo ??? and your set lol nice car

 

i think the color is a little played out.. im not a fan of body kits and i dont think the lines of the kit really complement the car and also those rims are a bad choice. with all the money you spent on body and paint.. you probably could have sold your rims, stayed white (or a nicer gold), bought a nice c/f lip or had one custom made of the OEM one and gotten a nicer set of wheels and drop and it would have looked alot nicer.

and please dont say nothing about hating on you lol.. you posted on a forum and were expecting everyone to bow lol.. ill save that for someone who makes good power, perf and with a nicer looking tc..

 

the kit looks good imo.. but i don't like the color, i'm more of a standard color guy... but i like the kit and the tint....

 

why do u need a roll bar...i mean i love the car but a roll bar is for 11 second cars...ummm unless u F/i with some go go juice....no roll bar

lookin good Tony. i think i woulda went with a darker gold if it were me but still nice. you're not running the Advans anymore are ya? it looks like a clash with them.

the rear looks kinda bland now, are you going to add a wing? i think if you added an APR carbon fiber wing it would be hot even though people call them ricey. it would look hella nice i think. keep up the good work and ignore haters!

(btw, sorry if you answered these questions in the previous 9 pages, i didnt want to read through all of them)

I love the APR wing on he H&R car... it's nice, but really pricey... I think it may look good on a car as over-the-top as his is... I'd have to do a few more things to keep that look clean with mine.

To the questions above.... He was Autopower Inc's test/design car, to build a rollcage in the tC, and get it set up... so that's how the roll cage came about....

Him doing that down there with autopower inc. allowed me to get mine up here.... as they now make setups for the tC as a result.

(My bar is SCCA approved) Mine is a roll bar setup, instead of a full cage, and has a removable cross bar and harness bar... which allows me to keep my rear seat alive.

how could this be rolling garbage??? this is a very nice car with alot of time and effort put into it. of course he has done things that some may not agree upon, but havent all of us? either way, i think that you are jealous that you cannot do everything that he is... sure he painted his car GOLD... but thats what he liked, so you may not like it but regardless his car has alot of effort put into it.

 

^^^A lot of money, not effort. The effort was put into it by the people that did the work! It takes no effort to wake up one day and say "hmmm...I think I'll get my car painted gold today".
Is this car a daily driver or just for shows or do you plan on racing it? I really like the stance of it. I think the wheels would look good powdercoated black to continue the color scheme you chose. Or paint to match the (GULP) gold?

I'd have to say the effort he went to and still continues to go through to get the sponsorships and develop the car is pretty impressive.

I've not even had half the success he has in regards to securing some good sponsors and great parts...

I have to give him props for that.... insane....

When i meant hating was people that was using loaded terminalogy in their critiscm. i think there's a difference between dislikes and i hate your car.

like we all say, to each his own, this is my car and i freaking love it came out

the paint is rich, the kit is rare, the setup is original.

i know the rims gotta go but i got somethin new for that

and for whats next, just stay tuned. i'm not going to be posting any more "taek's update" threads anymore.

so maybe people will be happy? haha

and yes, ignormaus, it is the cwest kit. i spoke to a few companies in producing it already. but that wont happen for awhile haha
