Default Taking off back SCION logo..

I want to take of the back scion logo and paint it black, then stick it back on. I know there are plenty of threads about taking logos off, but none of them really tell you how to stick it back on. I have heard that the logo is held in place with bolts?
haha IDK, I've been reading around on CStC.com and one of there DIY threads said that the scion logo on the back was held in place by bolts.

ha so help would be much appreciated. thanks guys.

3M emblem glue. that's what I used when I painted mine black. gotta warn you though, the paint will chip off. but you can still do it over again.

the logo itself is not held on by bolts. it has 3m tape on the backside and then two little pin "clips" that hold it in. just take it off like you'd take the TC emblem off. hair dryer, etc. it will work. then take off all the 3M tape.

3m double sided tape, automotive grade. works wonders. you can find it at your local auto parts store.

paint will chip off the emblem after you paint it because of weather, car washing, etc.

and tolleson is only 35 minutes away from mesa lol. not too far. how long have you had the car? are you in any clubs?

^^ oh haha..i feel dumb.

I've only had the tc for about a month and a half now. I'm just slowly starting to mod my car. I'm trying to get a bunch of little things done first before I do the huge things (i.e. lip kit, wheels, turbos)
And no, i'm not in any clubs yet.

I wonder if powdercoating it would make the paint more durable. Hmm....

^^ hmm...right now, i'm just really trying to get some more money so I can buy my stuff. I'm only 16 so working a part time job doesn't pay a significant amount.

But future mods would be:

Wheels- Don't know what kind yet (wanna find some black ones but hard to find the right ones)
-Five axis lip kit
-CAI
-Some lighting mods, interior and exterior

And thats about all I can think of right now.
Have any suggestions? I want to try to keep my car clean as can be and not ricer looking, you know?
