taking off dealership sticker
im trying to take off the dealership sticker i have on the back of my tC. i've heard taking a blow dryer to it is very effective, but i can use the blow dryer outside, because it needs a cord to work. i've also heard that taking it to the carwash and spraying it with the hose very closely will take it off ( that i don't think will work ). what i've accomplished is peeling off little pieces of it, and now it just looks like ____. so what's the easiest and best way of getting it off.

On the topic, if you ever decide to try 3M adhesive remover, a word of advice: It works great on adhesives, but will 'shatter' any plastic you get it on. I had an accident with my last car's headlights, and removing some eyebrows... I ended up buying two new headlights.
i just peeled mine off yesterday. was gonna use a blow drier and floss like everyone else but after scratching the corner off i noticed i could just peel it off. i wiped off any remaining glue and i waxed that naked paint showing
GooGone makes a product specifically for this. It comes with the GooGone and a little plastic tool to get under the decal. Works very well.

De-Solv-It is made from citrus oil. The full name of the product is De-Solv-It Citrus Solution. It is not a harsh "solvent". It is 100% organic and made from citrus oils, aloe vera, and lanolin. The company that produces it is called Orange-Sol.

This product cleans just about anything. I love it.

This is why I gave specific instructions to my dealer not to even put one on. I don't give free advertising.
I think that Goo-Gone is probably your safest bet if you decide to use any sort of solvent, but why can't you just run an extension cord outside to use the blow dryer?
