I would be down with a set of black ones

 

I like these, but fear that the lighting from the projectors will be subpar.

How hard do you guys think it will be to buy one of these and replace the aftermarket projector with an OEM projector set from an Audi, BMW, or Acura?

Also, how hard will it be to rewire the top LEDs so it can run as daytime running lights?

If anyone in Los Angeles wants to help me with these two mini projects, that would be great!

 

That sounds doable. I even have a couple of E38 projectors standing by. sadly I'm nowhere near you.

Yet another thing, I'd like to show you the following pics. They all have chromed headlights and needless to say they all look great, so I NOW would consider chromed ones also. I don't know about you ppl.

 

WHY the orange reflector? why couldn't it be white.. =[

 

I read in another thread that they had it white, but couldn't get DOT approval, so they made it orange. I'm planning to tape up a 2-3 stripes on the reflector, then spray paint the rest of it black (or another color), so only the taped stripes reflect. I hope you can see what I mean.
