Those modded don't look too bad. Although after getting your retrofitted headlights I will never go back. I love them!

I need to get to putting in that curved shield, a little nervous though. I was going to get a couple more parts and do them all at once.

I also modded the shields on my 2012 TC not too long ago. I got a crazy blue cutoff using 5,000k morimoto bulbs and 35w ballasts. All Im missing is a clear lens but TRS is not 100% which lens i can use on the TC2.
Sick upgrade DigitalPro. Wish there were more Retrofit gurus up in here.

This is me from sevral feet away using the cell phone camera

Thanks man glad you like them! These modded OEM's are a Big improvement over the stock version!! Though most of the light is right in front of the car the cutoff and color looks awesome now.

Modding projectors isn't to be taken lightly, they need to be 100% perfect before even thinking about installing them into the headlights otherwise you will regret it...I know from experience!! Take your time and try not to commit to completing the retrofit in one day. Here's a recently updated gallery from a pair of OEM projectors modded 3 years ago and sold to Jon here on SL. I recently posted a for sale thread selling a retrofit kit but decided to just mod the OEM projectors and put them back together, they will go up for sale a little later.

Thanks man, your setup looks nice with the blue flicker, probably some purple in there but camera phones really can't capture it. The TRS Black series lens should work but would need a TC2 set for testing to confirm the spacing is 100% correct. The E30 clear lens I used on my TC1 OEM mod was perfectly spaced but then I color modded them with 1 washer under each post to pop a little more purple.

Thanks mischman

PROJECTOR COMPARISON GALLERY

Projector comparison between, RX330, Maxima, MiniD2S and Koito H11. Pics aren't the greatest but you can see the true HID projectors have a intense band of concentrated light at the cutoff and it's pretty evenly spread moving away from the car. Mini's suck, Koito H11 isn't that bad, far better then stock and no aligning or modding back into the headlight housing.
