Question Tein S-tech lowering springs.

So I currently have TRD lowering springs and, I'm just not satisfied with them.

I've read tons about the S-techs on this forum and they seem to be very popular here on Scion Life.

but... when i started researching and pricing out the springs. Some places list them as a 2 inch drop... while others list them as a 1.5 inch drop.

Just wanna confirm which it is...

Because my car is my DD... i think that half inch makes a difference. Not really to sure though. Maybe you guys could give your opinion keeping in mind that my Car is my Daily Driver, and im running 225/40/18 wheels.

My biggest fear would be scrapping my front bumper. I have the upgraded body kit from the dealership.

Also, Once you break in the springs... how much more do the springs settle?

I have a few more questions... but it all depends on how much of a drop these springs are.

It is a 2.4" in the front, and 2" in the back.
If you drive carefully, you won't scrape. I'm on stechs, and my bumpers not too bad. It's worth it, trust me.

How much space do you have between your tire and fender? I defiantly do not want that tucked look. I'd want that very flush look.

Not sure what tire / rim size you have... but curious to how a 225/40/18 would look with s techs.

I probably have a 1 finger gap in the back, half a finger in the front.
I'm on stock wheels, those wheels you have on stechs would be pretty flush.
You'd probably only rub on big bumps.

S techs on factory shocks for 30k miles, switched to Tokico shocks since. On stock rims, no rubbing. Gotta pay attention to steep dips though.

Anyone that notices the scrapes on the underside of my bumper is either working on my car or just got run over, so it's a pretty minor thing.

damn... might be a bit to much rubbing with 18's. Specially if its settling at about 2.5 inch drop. hmmmm....
