I've been reading up on replacing the license plate light bulbs on the back of the car with led bulbs and they seem cool. But damm its so hard to pull out. Am I that much of a weaksauce or is there a certain trick to it?

Use pliers and turn it counter clockwise. Simple.

 

i used a wrench because of the way its shaped, very easy to remove the bulb.

 

Why? Took me about 5 minutes to figure out that all you need is a pair of pliers.

 

hmm. i just shoved my hand in there and twisted.

 

yeah, just use something to get some leverage to pull it out. pliers, wrench, vicegrip whatever.

 

yea i needed pliers on the first try also.
