hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew a good site where i can get my turninlight bulbs. im not much of a fan of the orange looking one, so i was considering switching to maybe a clear...is that legal?

There are "chrome" bulbs out there that still flash amber. You can get a set from cardomain.com or actually eBay has the same ones. You'll be paying about $20 for a set after shipping. The size is 7440.

 

you can get a clear set almost anywhere. I went to autozone, they didnt have the part in the computer, but when I compared the stock and clear they were the same.

If you get something that flashes another color - it's likely illegal to use on the street.

 

i have piaa hyper white turn signals. the bulb is blue colored, but lits up white when turned on. it's pretty cool though cuz the blue coating from the bulb is reflected off the housing which makes that whole area blue. i'm getting tired of those and may go back to the amber color. but i also want one that is clear. and besides, i'm not sure if white turn signals is even legal. some say it is and some say it isn't.

 

White turn signals are legal. The law I read said that the turn signals in the front must be EITHER amber or white. Now I figure thats California law which is stricter than any other states.
